Last week, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine approved the draft law "On Amendments to Certain Legislative Acts of Ukraine Regarding the Organization and Conduct of Gambling and Lotteries".
The draft law currently includes changes that we believe will have a positive impact on the industry, such as the possibility of using the online portal of public services to apply for a license and file an application for self-exclusion for individuals with gambling addiction.
The dissolution of the Commission for the Regulation of Gambling and Lotteries (KRAIL) and the creation of a new regulatory non-collegiate body are also included in the draft law.
The bill was registered in the Ukrainian parliament. We can assume that later, amendments will be submitted to the draft law, which may relate to other issues of the gambling industry.
