The Client was considering getting a license on the newly regulated Ukrainian market in 2021 but was concerned with lack of on-the-ground knowledge on the current market situation.
TASK
4H Agency was tasked with conducting a thorough market research for commercial and regulatory internal teams of the client.
ACTIONS TAKEN
Our team has prepared regulatory and marketing overview of the market, together with its SWOT-analysis, and managed to get data on the key marketing metrics based on anonymous interviews with local market stakeholders.
RESULTS
The Client ultimately decided not to proceed with licensing due to high level of uncertainty surrounding the market that became evident from our research. After several years, we see that our findings regarding the Ukrainian market were confirmed, which allowed the Client to focus on its expansion elsewhere.
