Recent regulatory developments in Curacao required the client, along with all other operators, to obtain a direct license from the Curacao Gambling Board within a very short timeframe.
We were tasked with evaluating the client’s infrastructure (e.g., acceptance and management of player funds) and operational procedures (e.g., AML compliance, key company roles) to ensure compliance with the new licensing requirements. Additionally, we were responsible for securing a direct license from the Curacao Gambling Board in accordance with the recently introduced regulatory framework.
The 4H team performed an in-depth analysis of the client's infrastructure and operational processes, identifying critical infrastructural and procedural gaps that needed to be addressed to meet the new licensing conditions.
In cases where the client was unable to resolve these gaps internally, we provided ready-made solutions to ensure compliance with the necessary licensing requirements.
While many operators are still waiting for 3-5 months to receive their direct license after application, we successfully secured the client’s direct license from the Curacao Gambling Board within just 1 month.
